Bad Mood . . .

I am in the foulest of moods tonight.  Things just are not going all that great and I just don't know what to do about it.  Without a lottery win, nothing I can do about it.  I don't know I need to do something to bring money into this house and I just don't have any idea what that is.  I was ok but earlier there was another meltdown over boredom and there not being snacks in the house and different things are are just STUPID and unnecessary.

I don't know I'll study on it and come up with a solution.

Journey

Appropriately, the incense and burners I ordered arrived today.  Quick!  I've already burnt one of the Journey scents.  Appropriate because I'm ready to begin writing seriously again.  I'm going to start something new to kickstart the process then start working on a piece I think I can sell to Ellery Queen.  Wouldn't that be nice?  Even if it doesn't pay well (although I think EQ does), it would be my first publishing credit.  So onward I go to my new world.

I had to get up really early this morning to get Mother to her doctor by 9:00 now all I want to do is sleep.  Last night didn't sleep well because of the heat, tonight probably more of the same but it did rain and cool things off some. 67 for our low tonight.  I'm hoping to get a small air conditioner in here soon.  If not I may have to sleep in the living room, I can't tolerate this much longer.  HATE heat.

Anyhoot, that's how my life is laying out.  More on the morrow when I'm more awake.

Blasted WalMart!

So I used to be able to shop at WalMart for SOME of my spiritual needs, ie incense, incense burner, etc.  I did get another candle warmer and got 3 kinds of scent squares for it; honeysuckle, vanilla, and something mysterious called Illusion.  So all I need now is an incense burner.  The last incense I bought I got from Brookshire Brothers Grocery, they sell Gonesh.  So off I go online to see what I can find.  Good time to make and Azuregreen order :D  Ta!

Another Adventure . . .

Going to Woodville today to be with The Mothers (mine and my friend Pat's) so they can go to their reunion and not get turned into hamburger driving themselves there on The Devil's Highway.  I'm bringing my camera for shits n giggles hoping to get some bluebonnet or other forestry wildflower shots.  Might find an abandoned house or 4 to explore.  One in particular.  :)  Curiosity kills the cat, and maybe the Sapphyre, but we may take a look anyway :).

Needs . . .

I need another incense burner, candles, wax warmer.  I need to get my bins over here and another tv tray.  A place for cds.  Bins probably.

Summertime . . .

I cursed the winter now I have the summer to contend with.  This area of Texas really doesn't do "spring", it just goes from cold, to not so cold, to hot in about a month's time.  Then it bakes us for 6 months and then it's not so hot then it's cold and you get the picture.  So now it's hot, I think mid 90s this afternoon.  We only have one air conditioner, so the inside is pretty warm until the sun sets.  Mother is absolutely miserable and making me miserable with her whining but, eh.  I went today to where we rented the furniture I'm hoping we can add a recliner to our account the first of the month, I KNOW there is one there she can use, starting at like $40.  But we'll see.  She was going to add a 12k btu air conditioner, but we've decided it's too big for the breakers so we gave that up.  Gonna stick with the 5K for my room and see if that helps any.  I'm thinking not.  But we'll see.

It's Gonna Rain . . .

Thundering outside, this when laundry just went into the machine.  Damn.  Maybe it'll just be a sprinkle.  It's been windy all morning.  Got my FGrill moved over gonna make a nice ribeye for lunch.  Maybe some veggies with, since we're potatoeless.  'S ok.  I got shit to do outside the home, I'm gonna be so glad to come home to all the cats being out.  Whatever though.  I love the new place, my room.  Just brought in a bin of dvds to put in the shelves.  Hoorah!  More later, gonna like, do stuff.
