Needs . . .

I need another incense burner, candles, wax warmer.  I need to get my bins over here and another tv tray.  A place for cds.  Bins probably.

Summertime . . .

I cursed the winter now I have the summer to contend with.  This area of Texas really doesn't do "spring", it just goes from cold, to not so cold, to hot in about a month's time.  Then it bakes us for 6 months and then it's not so hot then it's cold and you get the picture.  So now it's hot, I think mid 90s this afternoon.  We only have one air conditioner, so the inside is pretty warm until the sun sets.  Mother is absolutely miserable and making me miserable with her whining but, eh.  I went today to where we rented the furniture I'm hoping we can add a recliner to our account the first of the month, I KNOW there is one there she can use, starting at like $40.  But we'll see.  She was going to add a 12k btu air conditioner, but we've decided it's too big for the breakers so we gave that up.  Gonna stick with the 5K for my room and see if that helps any.  I'm thinking not.  But we'll see.

It's Gonna Rain . . .

Thundering outside, this when laundry just went into the machine.  Damn.  Maybe it'll just be a sprinkle.  It's been windy all morning.  Got my FGrill moved over gonna make a nice ribeye for lunch.  Maybe some veggies with, since we're potatoeless.  'S ok.  I got shit to do outside the home, I'm gonna be so glad to come home to all the cats being out.  Whatever though.  I love the new place, my room.  Just brought in a bin of dvds to put in the shelves.  Hoorah!  More later, gonna like, do stuff.

The Way Life Goes . . .

We got furniture delivered last week, a nice living room suit that consisted of a sectional couch, 3 tables, 2 lamps and a rug, and a full size bed for me.  Very nice.  The sectional is rather comfortable depending on how one sits on it.  In my room I have a table I'll be using for my television, and a built in desk I'll be using for my computer.  The men were out this morning looking at what they needed and what they are going to have to do to get the electricity and water connected so we can move in.  The only thing left to buy for it really is the dining room table and an air conditioner for the living room.  We still really need another porch built on to the front door, but the one at the kitchen door is ok, I will put hooks up so we can hang the bird feeders and my hanging baskets.  I want to plant some strawberries.  The two rose bushes Pat gave me are blooming profusely, I'm going to plant them at the corner of the house and move my garden to the rear of the house underneath my window.  The back area where I have it has been taken over by ants and runaway vegetation, gotten snakey.  That's ok I wanted to upgrade the new area anyway.

Who's Unemployed . . . Again . . .

Yea me.  I made a huge costly error and needless to say, couldn't continue my employment.  I'm going to apply at Taco Bell one day next week, have my good dress laundered and make a good impression and see if I can't get a local job.  Fast food would be more fun.

Arrrggghhhh . . . Back To Work

I don't know if I posted it before, but I'm temporarily re-employed, with my last boss.  Great because we can really use the money but hard because I'm not used to working.  He wants me to work 10 hour days, so I'm 9-8 with an hour lunch.  I love lunchtime especially this time of year.  Spring has sprung big time here, we even have hummers here at home.  I need to water the remnants of my garden soon, I don't know how I will other than on my way out in the morning.  But I'll figure it out.  Today I was out to lunch and I've been bringing my transistor radio to work and I was WAILING!  I felt so good.  I do hope it lasts but if I want it to, I'm going to have to step it up I've already made really stupid mistakes.  I do know this, I don't trust him enough to rely on him for a good reference.  I'm going to have to use him, but I don't think he's going to be very nice.  But we'll see.  It's going to be a little while before I'll need that anyway.

Ok going to go and upgrade my games until dinner is ready, another downer, LATE dinners.

Who's Employed?

This gal!  Yesterday out of the blue my ex boss called wanting me to come back for a while!  I was thrilled!  Not thrilled that I'll be working 10 hour days, but hell, it's a paycheck.  I signed up for one of those prepaid debit cards for my check to go to, I'm not sure how he intends to pay me I assume it's going to be by check but I can cash it and put it on my card.  So I'm about to hit the shower and the road again, didn't hurt as much to get up as I thought it would.  It was a nice vacation.  Now I can better lose the weight!  YAY!!
