Back To Work . . .

I go back to Arby's on Saturday, off until then.  They are killing me on hours.  Not getting half enough.  I am getting so tired of this I want a set number of hours and keep it that way.  We'll see, things are just getting back to some kind of normal.

I was going to call on the car but I really can't there aren't enough days off.  But I do have to get it fixed this is killing me.  I just don't want to be without it because I won't be able to get to work if they hold on to it too long.

Another Child . . .

All I know is I heard a puppy cry this morning about a quarter to 10, I was listening to chamber music and when I heard it I opened the door to see, and Pepper immediately saw him, I went out there and there was this tiny ball of fur in my yard crying his eyes out.  I picked him up he was shaking it was a cold morning, and I brought him in, first thing I checked to see if he was able to eat, he's only 4-6 weeks old.  He was able to eat so I had Pedigree Puppy pouches left over from Rex so I gave him one of those he ate half of it and I sat with him to warm him up.  I picked cockleburs out of his fur till my fingers were numb and he warmed up and fell deep asleep.  I named him Raphael, I liked the name and he has something angelic about him, mostly like how he just appeared out of nowhere.  I've since given him the other half of the pouch, let him wander around the house a tad, he's now sleeping on one of my shoes. Pepper is not fond of him but he'll soon grow big enough to protect himself, he looks to be Chow mix, not sure.  I need to vet him and get him wormed and first shots.  Can't imagine where he came from.

Time To Clean House . . .

House cleaning today, good day for it going to be sunny and a little breezy.  Off work till Monday night, I'll work Monday and Tuesday then, if the current schedule holds out, only work Monday and Tuesday of the next pay period.  16 hours, I don't know what I'm going to do if that continues.  I'm getting tired of this shit.

Housebound . , ,

So there is this stuff Covid19 or Coronavirus going around and the world is in turmoil.  Businesses have closed people are being confined to their homes.  My job ... well ... I normally work the night shift at Arby's but the night shift currently is no more so they shifted me to the Love's part of our business and they have constructed a small 'deli' and it's now my job to provide people with fountain drinks, coffee, hot snacks.  I still mostly work overnight but had to work one day shift.  Things were just looking up for me greatly now this.  I'm still doing well, in that I still have a job.  The government gave us all $1200 in stimulus money, like they did that one year when everyone got like $600.  NOW they think they might give us 2k for at least 6 months and man if they do that this chick has a new home!  So I'm praying that happens.  We will have to pay taxes on this money come next year but hell, it's worth it!

In home news Tygger had 4 kittens cutest things on 4 feet, 2 of them yellow tabby so happy about that.  Since the shitstorm of last November I got another dog her name is Pepper, she is a lab mix.  I'm about to, I hope, get a chiweenie I'll be naming Rex.  I am going to try to get Pepper spayed next week she's conceived but I want her spayed anyway I think it will be ok.  Just expensive as hell but I have the stimulus to use.  Once that's done I have to get a handyman out here to repair the rv.  THAT is going to cost.

Clothes

So I am naked for day clothes, I'm hoping the payday after this to spend around $200 for jeans.  I have 4 pair in a cart at Haband, and 3 in a cart at Walmart.  Also 2 pair of sandals at Haband.  That would give me a week of clothes, I can start getting tees and blouses at Walmart.  I want to grab about 4 more pair of black pants for work too, I have a gagillion shirts and aprons.  I have another large order in my amazon cart, I had to repurchase The Ghost and Mr. Chicken, I woke this afternoon to Pepper beating me with the case to it, found the label still haven't found the dvd.  I'm writing it off and ordering another.

Work goes well except I come in so damned tired because I can't get enough sleep its not funny.  Time I get home I'm so drained I can't do anything but fall on the bed and sleep but only about 3 or 4 hours.  I need more than that.

Off Work ..

I'm down to one dog, Angus left home 2 days ago and I've not seen him since.  Just got Pepper left.  I need to get her a playmate.  Saw someone has a dog they found that would be perfect, another female so I wouldn't have to worry about them breeding.  But I want to hold off until I can maybe get a fence put around this RV so when they get let out they won't be able to leave.  I'll have that handy man bid on it, would be nice if I could afford it.  Anyway off work for 3 nights, just kind of bonding with Pepper some we've really not had time to bond.  I need to get her some toys.  She can play with the rope toy now that Angus has left.  She's good at coming back in when I let her out, she does leave the yard but mostly stays right here.  She loves being in, and is so good at going to the bathroom outside.

Feeding Time Again . . .

Got the pets fed, very basic tonight.  The baby got canned the adults got dry and fought over it and spilled it all over they are still picking it up.  Always chaos.  Cats got canned they are good till tomorrow.  Tomorrow I'll go to Walmart and restock, just placed another sizable Amazon order I hope it ships soon, it's a lot of stuff for my workings.  Have some more in my cart for next time.  I ordered King's The Institute, Pat wanted me to order her one so I added a copy for her.  She'll be in Abilene by the time I order it and it gets here.  I may place the order next week we'll see, I really want another laptop.

Work goes well the new manager is warming to me I think.  Either that or she's just given up and decided to let bygones be bygones.  Either way it's more peaceful in the mornings.  I feel better about my job.
